Course content

The course focuses on activities in the front end of projects. Risk analysis. Concept development. Project evaluation. Business models. Sustainability. Flexibility.

Learning outcome

The candidate shall have knowledge about challenges in the front-end of projects, use of methods for project analysis in the front end and methods for project evaluation.

The candidate is able to use methods for project analysis in the front end and understand how the results can be used.

General competence:
The candidate can understand the importance of the front end of projects.

Learning methods and activities

Lectures and compulsory exercises. The final grade will be given as a grade by letter, based on a written final exam (100%). In the case of a postponed exam the written exam may be replaced by an oral one.

  • Exercises, Semester paper

Specific conditions

Exam registration requires that class registration is approved in the same semester. Compulsory activities from previous semester may be approved by the department.
