About

Torunn Askim (ORCID: 0000-0002-9818-9272) is Head of Department of Neuromedicine and Movement Science (INB) at NTNU.

Torunn is a physiotherapist by education and received her PhD in Clinical Medicine at NTNU in 2008. Her research focuses on different aspects of rehabilitation after stroke, ranging from specific neurorehabilitation techniques to the development of new healthcare models for long-term follow-up.
