Bridgehead Aquaculture is a public-private partnership dedicated to fostering collaboration between the aquaculture industry, secondary schools, universities, and regional authorities.

The initiative aims to enhance recruitment into the sector, improve the relevance of education and research, and promote science-based innovation.

This is accomplished by bridging the gap between theory and practice, connecting urban and coastal areas, and integrating technological, biological, and social science perspectives.

Through this holistic, research-driven approach, the sector’s challenges can be addressed in a manner that aligns with societal values and environmental sustainability.
