Internetware 2025, FSE 2025, and ISSTA 2025

20.–28. June 2025

"Between June 20th and June 28th, 2025, the Department of Computer Science at NTNU proudly hosted three prestigious software engineering conferences in succession: Internetware 2025, FSE 2025, and ISSTA 2025. With approximately 1,000 delegates in attendance, this series represents one of the largest international computer science conference events NTNU has organized in the past decade.

Feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive. Attendees praised the quality of the conference content, the engaging social events, the excellent catering, and the overall organization.

We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to NTNU Conferences, who worked closely with us for over a year in preparation for these conferences. Their support was consistently professional, timely, and indispensable. Many logistical and organizational aspects were unfamiliar to us, and their expertise helped us navigate these complexities with confidence.

Thanks to their dedication and guidance, the conferences were a resounding success. We wholeheartedly recommend the services of NTNU Conferences to anyone planning a large-scale academic event."

IRIS/SCIS 2021

IRIS/SCIS 2021 - was arranged as a virtual conference 9 - 11 August 2021

I was conference chair for the 12th Scandinavian Conference on Information Systems and 44th Information Systems Research Seminar (IRIS), organized by the Department of Computer Science at NTNU on August 9th-11th, 2021 with almost 100 participants.

We collaborated closely with NTNU Konferanser in a time of high uncertainty. While we had hoped to organize the conference in person, we had to revert to a digital format a few months before the event. The staff at NTNU Konferanser, have been amazing in guiding us in how to translate our (rather articulated) event into a virtual one. They have always been available in the process to shepherd us, answer both big and small questions, and deal with any problems.

Thanks to them we were able to approach the conference without stress. HNTNU Konferanser and the technical support have also been with us at all times during the event and took care of any issues that has emerged during the three days of the conference.

We used the OnAir conference system which we found suitable to both plenary and groupwork-based sessions. Some technical hiccups came up every now and then for some participants, but the NTNU Konferanser staff always handled and resolved them in a matter of minutes via the live support function.

The feedback from the participants to us was also positive. The conference organizers are very satisfied by the support we received from NTNU Konferanser and cannot recommend them enough for organizing conferences, workshops, or other scientific events.
