Adamantia Lazou
Background and activities
Adamantia Lazou holds an MSc in Materials Science and Metallurgical Process from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Dr., Lazou is currently working as a researcher at NTNU in the Resources, Energy, and Environment research group in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering. Her research focuses on recycling and valorization of secondary streams from the metallurgical industry, resource efficiency, and sustainability in the metallurgical processes. Her strong interest is in digitalization, process, and thermodynamic modeling. She has been a lecturer in the TKP 4158 (Hydrometallurgical Process Technology) and supervised MS students as research assistants.
