Ahmed Fraz Baig
About
Research Interests:
Privacy, applied cryptography, continuous authentication, biometrics, usable security, and machine learning.
I have actively contributed to various research projects involving privacy, security, and usability. My expertise spans applied cryptography, network security, machine learning, and human-computer interaction. I have a significant research experience of proposing privacy-preserving cryptographic protocols for different application domains. I have also explored privacy-preserving usable security techniques to enhance user experience and security in digital systems.
Background:
I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the International Islamic University Islamabad, Pakistan, and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same institution.
In November 2020, I joined the Norwegian Computing Center (Norsk Regnesentral) as a Ph.D. candidate and defended my Ph.D. thesis at NTNU in March 2024. My doctoral research was conducted as part of the PriMa (https://www.prima-itn.eu/) project.
