I completed my PhD at the Industrial Ecology Programme, supervised by Francesca Verones and co-supervised by Martin Dorber. My research revolves around understanding the relationship between the environmental impacts of plastic pollution and societal consumption patterns of plastic products. I aim to provide science-based policy recommendations for addressing the plastic crisis.
My PhD was part of MAPLE – Marine Plastic Pollution: Environmental Impact and life cycle scenarios, which is one of NTNU's interdisciplinary sustainability projects, and is titled Quantifying the Norwegian Plastic Cycle and Its Impacts: Integrating Material Flow Analysis and Life Cycle Assessment to Guide Policy
