Ahmet Soydan
About
Ahmet Soydan is currently studying on his PhD thesis titled "Numerical Modeling of Ship Hydrodynamics in Real Sea Conditions" under the supervision of Professor Hans Bihs in the Marine Civil Engineering Research Group. He received his master’s degree in the department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, from Istanbul Technical University in 2018. He worked at Milper Propeller Technologies Inc. (2015-2017), SEFT Ship Design (2017-2019), and Turkish Aerospace (2019-2021) as Research Engineer. His research interests include:
- Computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
- Ship hydrodynamics in waves
- Wave-structure interaction
- High-performance computing (HPC)
- Rotor/propeller aero/hydrodynamics-aero/hydroacoustics
