I obtained my Masters of Technology from Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, NIT Surat, India and PhD from Indian Institute of Technology Ropar. I joined NTNU as a senior researcher in September 2023.
I focus my research on determining the impact of anthropogenic activities, climate change and erosion on landslide susceptibility. As in many cases, landslides are act as the secondary hazards, hence, I also check the spatial overlaps of these chain of interacting multiple hazards. Satellite remote sensing data and explainable artificial intelligence techniques are utilised for achieving this purpose.
