Research Area

I work on the subjective and physiological assessments of digital storytelling and new media applications. My research focuses on holistic measures for user-perceived quality in immersive media vis-a-vis various forms of presence and immersion. I am currently working on the relation between content and context influence factors in the formation of an overall Quality of Experience (QoE) of VR applications.

Expertise, Skills & Activities

Immersion & Presence . Digital Storytelling.  Quality Modeling & Assessment. 3D Modeling & Virtual Environments. CAD Applications & Prototyping. Graphics & Visualization.

Background

I graduated in Architecture (B.Arch) with interests surrounding associative design and digital tectonics. A master's thesis on "Self-Sufficient Habitats" (M.Arch) shifted my research focus towards the confluence of new media and the built environment, which led me to a second master's degree (M.A.) in Media Technology.
