About

I am a PhD candidate at the Industrial Ecology Programme (IndEcol). My research focuses on understanding how the transformation between the human and natural resource cycles witihin the bio-economy are linked. I am also working part time as a senior consultant for EY Climate Change and Sustainability team.

Projects

I am a part of two research projects at IndEcol funded by the Norwegian research council.

1. MIND-P - Barriers & opportunities for MINeral Phosphorus INDependence in Norway
The project analyses the pathways for the Norwegian bioeconomy to acheive direct independence from mineral phosphorous. My role in the project is conducting systems analysis to develop a roadmap for a circular phosphorous economy in Norway. I am also supporting the co-ordination of the project.

2. BALANCE - BALancing humAn and Natural resources in a Circular bioEconomy.
Our aim is to develop a strategic tool for decision making that enable policy makers to evaluate alternative strategies for a circular bioeconomy in terms of the goals of value creation and employment, greenhouse gas emission reduction, and resource efficiency. I have been involved in the project from the stage of its inception through several rounds of proposal writing to securing the funding.
