Background and activities
I'm a postdoctoral researcher at the Anatomy of Resistance Campaigns (ARC) project. I research the dynamics of intra-state conflict, and am particularly interested in the causes and consequences of violent and nonviolent mobilisation, state repression, and counterinsurgency and peacekeeping effectiveness. I teach substantive topics on International Relations and empirical conflict studies, as well as inferential and predictive quantitative methods.
