I received a PhD at MIT under the supervision of Mark Bear. While there I studied visual cortex and how different layers and cell types contribute to the animal's perception of familiar (or novel) stimuil.

My research seeks to understand how animals encode complex spaces using a flexible grid-based representation of their world.
