Eduard Ortega Esparza

About

Eduard Ortega is a Professor at the Department of Mathematical Sciences since 2014 after postdoctoral positions at the University of Southern Denmar (2007-2009), University of Copenhagen (2009-2010) and NTNU (2010-2012). He is a member of the Analysis Group. Eduard Ortega has a MSc, and a PhD both from the Univeristat Autonoma de Barcelona.

His research interests are in Operator algebras, dynamical systems and ring theory.

Research

My research interest is mainly on the field of operator algebras. I studied operator algebras arising from groups and groupoids. Of special interest for applications to dynamical systems and non-commutative geometry.
