Background and activities

Research interests

My work focuses on how biological systems respond to abiotic drivers, specifically, how individuals and populations respond to climate changes. Much of my work has centred on using mathematical models to project how population size and structure is altered by different climate change scenarios.

Current work

I have recently started an International Mobility grant from the Norwegian Research Council and hosted at the University of Edinburgh. In my project - PREDICT - I will look at how we can improve the reliability and usefulness of our near term predictions of population change. My specific focuses will be on correctly quantifying and propagating uncertainty and including climate drivers into demographic models.
