About

Hanne Karlsaune is an Assistant Professor at the Bachelor`s Programme in Nursing at  The Department of Public Health and Nursing (ISM) Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (MK) at NTNU. She has  a background as clinical nurse, 10 years.  Master`s degree in Health Sciences from NTNU. The title of her Master's thesis was “Quality of Life for Constipated Children“. I have Pedagogical Basic competence, NTNU, corresponds to 200 hours work.   

 

My duties on Bachelor’s degrees, nursing are: 

  • organise and teach the course Clinical Observations and Assessments in Nursing - Clinical Studies. 15 sp. 

  • In the faculty I am active in Project "New study plan Bachelor in nursing NTNU 2020” this is together with campus in Gjøvik and Ålesund. 

As an Assistant Professor I have: 

  • had course responsibility for HSYK 203 and HSYK 305, medical practice in the school year 2018-2019, 

  • Theme responsibility for practical skills first year of study. 

  • Course coordinator SYT1003KOM Clinical Observations and Assessments in Nursing - Clinical Studies

  • Course coordinator SYT6304 Elderly care and Geriatrics – Clinical studies

  • Facilitator and operator at the Unit for health professional simulation. 

  • Practice guidance and group guidance, learning team leader. 

  • CPR instructor, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Instructor 

  • TBL teacher, Team-based learning teacher 

 

  • I represent NTNU in a collaboration projejct together with Deparment for endocrinologi and renal diseases at St. Olav hospital 

  • Deputy member of the Faculty Board at MH for the period 2021-2025 

 

  • I sit in the cooperation committee with Trondheim municipality and NTNU, the nursing education
