Background and activities
My background is bachelor's degree in nursing from 1994 with practice from neonatal intensive care, emergency services, nursing homes- and home healthcare services. In 2006 I took the practical educational education (PPU) and in 2010 the Master degree of science in planning and leadership.
From 2011, I have worked as a project manager, associate to the operationalization of St.meld.nr. 47 Samhandlingsreformen, with the focus on patient flow, and from 2012 with focus implementation of welfare technology, innovation in the public sector, and service design. Furthermore, I have been the initiator and project manager for establishing the multidisciplinary network-based learning arena ALV- Møre and Romsdal from 2013 to 2015.
Since 2015 I held a combined position between USHT -Møre and Romsdal and NTNU, Institute of Healthcare Sciences in Ålesund. The aim of the combined position is to make the needs in the practice field available for academia, and do research-based knowledge available for the practice field.
Since autumn 2016 I have been leading the Simulation and welfare technology lab at the Institute of Healthcare Science, and been managing the USHT collaboration project " Simulation as educational method in patient pathways between department and medical levels for elderly". In 2017, I received a research fellowship from NTNU related to the Virsam project at St. Olav in Trondheim.
