About
I am a special advisor and scientific writer employed at the Norwegian Centre for Headache Research. My main responsibility is centre growth: Initiating and supporting applications for new and existing research projects to enhance the quality and quantity of the centre's research output.
In my thesis, I investigated the comparative anatomy and electrophysiology of the hippocampal formation in mammals at the Moser group, the Kavli Institute for Systems Neuroscience and in collaboration with the Neural Systems group at the Institute of Basic Medical Sciences at the Medical Faculty at the University of Oslo, where I was employed as a visiting researcher.
I have a bachelor’s and master’s degree in molecular biosciences from the University of Oslo, where I during my thesis work contributed to investigating the electrophysiological effects of enzymatic degradation of extracellular matrix structures (perineuronal nets) in the entorhinal cortex of rats at the Fyhn group, Centre for Integrative Neuroplasticity, Department of Biosciences.
Additionally, I studied one year on the bachelor program in psychology at the University of Oslo and completed a bachelor’s degree in music teaching and music production in 2011.
