About

JiaJia Li is a PhD candidate in the Industrial Ecology Programme, supervised by Daniel Beat Müller and co-supervised by Lizhen Huang.


Background

She holds a master’s degree in (industrial) ecology from the Institute of Urban Environment (IUE), University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) in 2020. She got a bachelor’s degree in geography from Fujian Normal University. 

Research

Her research focuses on understanding how the built environment responds to demographic changes to better meet future human needs (including living, working, education, health, etc.). Her methods include Material flow analysis (MFA), and geographic information system(GIS).
