Background and activities

I started as Operations Manager for the NTNU Operations Division on 26 January 2009. My CV (in Norwegian) can be downloaded from the link on the left side of this page.

As Operations Manager I am responsible for operations and maintenance at the university, as well as procuring some replacement equipment. The division’s area of responsibility encompasses the following services:

Cleaning, janitorial services, mail handling, grounds maintenance / plowing / sanding, transportation, energy conservation work, NTNU Trykk (printing), building security, and plumbing, electrical and building services.

The Operations Division has about 300 employees and the administrative offices are found in the Operations Centre at Høgskoleringen 8.

I am a member of the Fellesadministrasjonens tilsettingsråd (the university appointments board) and the central emergency team.

Outside of NTNU, I am a director of the Trondheim Greater Housing Association, Chairman of the Torvsletta housing cooperative, and a member of the board for Servicesentralen Kattem Ust.
