I am a Doctoral Research Fellow in Political Science. In my PhD project, I examine the unintended consequences of climate aid in conflict-affected countries, with a focus on how climate adaptation aid can inadvertently fuel or shape armed conflict in recipient countries. I am particularly interested in rebel groups as political and governance actors, and how their interactions with donors and governments influence the distribution and effects of climate aid.
At ISS, I am part of the Violence, Institutions and Peace (VIP) and the Environment, Sustainability and Governance (ESG) research groups.
