About

Kabir Hossain received the B.Eng (Hons) in Communication Engineering and M.Sc in Communication Engineering (by research) degrees from Universiti Malaysia Perlis in 2019 and 2021, respectively. He is currently pursuing his PhD degree under the supervision of Professor Michael Cheffena at NTNU. In 2024, he was a Visiting Researcher at the University Carlos III of Madrid, Leganés, Spain.

His broad area of interests include, but not limited to antennas and related technologies; with specific interest in their applications in wearables/body area communication; antenna sensors and reconfigurable antennas; EM metamaterial; metasurfaces; massive MIMO and microwave imaging; and wireless techniques for healthcare and B5G/6G.

Mr. Hossain received the Best Paper Award sponsored by IEEE APS-MTT Chapter of Scotland from the Fifth International Conference on the U.K.-China Emerging Technologies (UCET 2020), Glasgow, U.K., and the Best Paper Award from the First International Conference on Engineering and Technology (ICoEngTech) 2021, Perlis, Malaysia.
