Kari Bjerke Gjærde
About
Education: Gjærde holds a master’s degree in interaction design, and a bachelor’s degree in engineering, graphic. She also has further education (60 ECTS) in management, organizational, and personnel subjects.
Background: Several years of background from the private sector as a designer, marketing coordinator, and project manager. In academia, background from research dissemination and communication, project management, and service design, mostly within the field of health sciences. She also contributed to the establishment of the Journal of Care Research, where she has worked as an editorial secretary.
Areas of Work: Ph.D. candidate at Innlandet Hospital Trust, where she works associated with the PreViS2 project, with the title of the Ph.D. project Design-driven development and implementation of prehospital video as decision support.
She also holds a 20% position as an Assistant Professor at NTNU.
