Background and activities
Katarzyna Świrk holds double Ph.D. title from Sorbonne Université (France) and AGH University of Science and Technology (Poland) for her work on yttrium promoted Ni-based hydrotalcites for dry reforming of methane. After her graduation in April 2019, she conducted a traineeship at Sorbonne Université. In October 2019, she started 1-year postdoctoral contract at ICGM, Université de Montpellier within the project Make Our Planet Great Again: APPAT – Purification de l’air par de nouveaux absorbants hybrides.
From October 2020, Katarzyna Świrk works on the research project, assuming design of low-cost and carbon-resistant Ni-based mesoporous silicas for chemical CO2 utilization through tri-reforming of methane (MesoSi-CO2). MesoSi-CO2 is funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation program under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship.
