Katharina Wolk
About
Katharina is a PhD candidate at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) at the Faculty of Natural Sciences (NV) in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering (IMA). Her PhD research focuses on nanoscale 3D chemical mapping of functional oxides using Atom Probe Tomography (APT). She is part of the Functional Topological Systems team within the FACET group, under the main supervision of Prof. Dennis Meier and co-supervision of Prof. Julia Glaum. Alongside her PhD research, she works as a duty worker at the NTNU NanoLab cleanroom facility. Before starting her PhD at NTNU, Katharina obtained a B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree in Physics from Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany supported by the Erasmus+ program and the Germany Scholarship (Deutschlandstipendium).
