About

Kim is a doctoral researcher in Humanities and the Arts for the '3R Oceans' Project, which seeks to chart how cultural conditions underpin the use of the oceans.

Kim's research establishes a critical engagement with the discourse on marine plastics. This is achieved by elaborating a philosophy of Media Ecologies, considering the materialities and conceptual histories influencing marine plastic epistemology.
