About

Currently engaged in a PhD program in collaboration with the HUNT Center for Molecular and Clinical Epidemiology, I hold dual specializations in General Practice and Public Health Medicine. My career is distinguished by a deep-rooted background in both municipal and specialist (hospital) healthcare administration. As a former Assistant Medical Director at the Regional Health Authority in Mid-Norway (Helse Midt RHF), I gained invaluable insights into health administration and mastered the public procurement of healthcare services.

I bring diverse board experience from both the voluntary and public sectors, with notable contributions to the Trondheim Tourist Association (Trondheim Turistforening) and healthcare governance roles with TK-Midt and Patient Travel HF (Pasientreiser HF).

With formal certification in Public Procurement from Nor-Cohn, I excel in securing private health services, complemented by my broad experience in leading projects at local, regional, inter-regional, and national levels within the healthcare sector. My extensive network and profound understanding of both primary and specialist healthcare services, in addition to healthcare service administration, cover a wide range both regionally and nationally.

My core strengths include continuous improvement, project and change management, driven by a fervent passion for #DigitalTransformation, #ChangeManagement, and #PartnershipsWithGPsandPrimaryHealthCare, along with interests in #Research, #GeneticEpidemiology, and #HealthAI.

My clinical expertise was initially developed in subordinate roles at Bærum Hospital (Health South-East RHF), evolving through positions as a Municipal Chief Public Health Officer and a General Practitioner/Emergency Doctor in district settings. I achieved my specialization in General and Community Medicine via the Norwegian Medical Association, subsequent to completing my medical degree.
