I graduated from University of Oslo in 1992 with a specialization in European studies from College of Europe, Bruges. I worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Industry and Energy in Oslo before joining NTNU in 1996. I have over the years gained broad experience as senior adviser in the Research Division, Faculty of Social Sciences and Technology, Division for Organization, Rector's staff, and since 2022 the HR and HSE Division.
