Background and activities

The high degree of digitalization in our society creates changes in civic services, and challenges for professions based on relational work. My project aims to understand how the changes towards digital, text-based guidance in NAV (Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration) take place, and how the supervisors' professional practice is challenged. I study authentic digital dialogues between counsellors and service users in NAV. The study is part of the project "Digital dialogue in the municipality's social services", and is a collaboration between NTNU, NAV Falkenborg and the university municipality of Trondheim municipality.
