About

I am a researcher in medicine and health sciences. My research expertise includes epidemiology, genetic epidemiology, use of metabolomics data, applied statistical modeling, study design and causal inference.

My research covers different topics, exploring causal relationships between lifestyle factors and various phenotypes or diseases, including cancer and cognitive function.

I have analytical skills in biostatistics, with experience using both Stata and R.

Education

  • PhD in Medicine and Health Sciences, NTNU
Doctoral thesis: Effects of reproductive factors and sex hormones on risks of lung and colorectal cancers in women. Prospective cohort and Mendelian randomization studies using data from the Trøndelag Health Study (HUNT)
