About

I work as a researcher in the EXCAR-group (ISB), and as senior advisor at HUNT Reserach Center (ISM).

My research interests lie within different "omics" data, for example on how biological factors such as human milk content, microbiome or genetics influence our health.

During my PhD, I mainly worked with genome-wide association studies (GWAS) of molecular biomarkers, and genetic causal inference (Mendelian randomization) using data from the Trøndelag Health Survey (HUNT) and other population based studies.

At HUNT Research Center I work with large biodata in HUNT.

Education

PhD in medicine and health sciences, NTNU (2022) (Genetic epidemiology)

MSc Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, NTNU (2018) (Systems biology)
