Research

My research focuses on developing control and optimization strategies for HVAC systems and renewable energy sources to help create smart-grid ready buildings. The idea is to make buildings more energy-efficient, more flexible, and better prepared to interact with the energy grid of the future.

I am working on combining Model Predictive Control (MPC) and Reinforcement Learning (RL) to improve how energy is used and managed in modern buildings.
