About

CV

I am currently a Postodoctoral Fellow in the Moser Group at the Kavli Institute for Systems Neuroscience. My research focuses on understanding how high-level cognitive functions emerge in the developing brain. I therefore study the ontogeny of the grid-cells’ network under the lense of Countinous Attractor Networks (CANs) models. My research is funded by an EMBO Postdoctoral fellowship (ALTF 738-2022).

Between 2018 and 2022, I was awarded a Marie Curie Fellowship (for Early-Stage Researchers) to carry out my PhD in the Group of Prof. Francesco Battaglia at Donders Institute (the Netherlands). During my doctoral research I studied temporal coding dynamics in the CA1 region of the hippocampus. I am also interest in the development and application of open-source device for systems neuroscience (the Hybrid Drive).
