CV

I am a Postodoctoral Fellow in the Moser Group at the Kavli Institute for Systems Neuroscience. I am interested in the organization of cortical network during development. My research seeks to characterize the ontogeny of our sense of space, understanding the relative contributions of pre-configured dynamics (“nature”) and experience-driven plasticity (“nurture”) in the development of networks in the entorhinal cortex (MEC).  My research is funded by an EMBO Postdoctoral fellowship (ALTF 738-2022).

Between 2018 and 2022, I was awarded a Marie Curie Fellowship (for Early-Stage Researchers) to carry out my PhD in the Group of Prof. Francesco Battaglia at Donders Institute (the Netherlands). During my doctoral research I studied temporal coding dynamics in the CA1 region of the hippocampus. I am also interest in the development and use of open-source device for systems neuroscience (the Hybrid Drive).
