Mohsen Sadeqi Moqadam is a postdoctoral researcher in Facet group in the Department of Material Science and Engineering. The work is mainly focused on electrokinetic characterization of piezoelectric materials for biopapplication purposes. The project involves both experimental and modeling issues. For the experimental purpose, a new experimental setup is fabricated and the streaming potential of piezoelectric materials is measured under the application of external loads. In addition, finite element modeling of the process is going to be employed to enhance our understanding of the process.
Background
Mohsen has a Master's degree in Reservoir Engineering from the University of Calgary (UofC) and Ph.D. in the same area from the University of Tehran (UT). My Ph.D. was mainly focused on the analytical modeling of wettability and its application in the oil industry.
