Nora Statle Løndal

Nora Statle Løndal is a PhD-candidate in the functional material and material chemistry (FACET) research group and her research project involves compositional engineering of lead-free ferroelectric materials through solid state synthesis and characterisation of how crystal structure and functional properties varies as a function of composition.
Background
Nora Statle Løndal has a master degree in Nanotechnology from NTNU (2020) with specialisation in nanotechnology for materials, energy and environment. In her seventh and eight semester she was on exchange at University College Dublin (UCD) in Ireland and at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) in India. The thesis work was on synthesis and characterisation of ferroelectric hybrid-molecular plastic crystals and Mari-Ann Einarsrud and Julian Walker was the main and co-supervisor, respectively.
