Umar Oluwaleke
About
I am a PhD Research Fellow in the Department of Engineering Cybernetics at NTNU working within the PERSEUS Doctoral Program in collaboration with Mobilitetslab Stor-Trondheim (MoST). My research focuses on developing data-driven frameworks for understanding and predicting urban mobility patterns, using Trondheim as a test bed.
The work involves creating workflows for data acquisition, integration, and modelling across multiple modalities. These methods support descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analyses, and are designed to integrate with Digital Twin environments. The overarching goal is to provide policymakers with actionable, evidence-based tools for evaluating mobility policies and supporting the transition toward sustainable urban mobility.
