Research

Fatigue capacity of partially loaded areas

This research focuses on investigating the fatigue performance of reinforced concrete specimens subjected to partially loaded areas, considering the influence of steel fibres, reinforcement arrangement, and the environmental factor of water submergence. An extensive experimental program carried out at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in collaboration with Det Norske Veritas (DNV) has been published in three master theses, and used as a basis in an ongoing PhD project.
