Ranik Raaen Wahlstrøm, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at NTNU Business School.
His research focuses on quantitative finance, bankruptcy and default prediction, FinTech, data science, machine learning, and accounting. His doctorate is entitled "Financial data science for exploring and explaining the ever-increasing amount of data".
Before joining academia, he held several positions in the private IT industry, including as CFO, advisor, board member, and certified public accountant.
At NTNU, he is coordinator and lecturer for courses at master's level. He also supervises master's theses and is co-supervisor for Ph.D.
