About

Rannei Hosar trained as a medical doctor at NTNU and graduated in 2021. She is currently a Ph.D. Fellow in health services research and investigates the healthcare prajectories of individuals with complex and long-term healthcare needs. Her fields of interest includes health politics, health systems, patient safety, healthcare improvement and international health.

Hosar's doctoral thesis aims to investigate population health management strategies for improved coordination of care for individuals with complex and long-term healthcare needs.

Hosar has held different representative positions, among others in the Norwegian Medical Association. She is former president of the Norwegian Medical Students' Association, and has been the UN Youth Delegate for Health on behalf of the Norwegian Children and Youth Council.
