Renzo earned his doctoral degree in psychology from Bourgogne Franche-Comté University in 2014. In 2015, he began working as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Neuchâtel. In 2018, he was awarded a 4-year Ambizione grant by the Swiss National Science Foundation, which he carried out at the same institution. He additionally served as an occasional lecturer at the University of Geneva. Based on his academic achievements, he was conferred the title of Privatdozent in 2020.
Renzo joined NTNU as an associate professor in 2022. At the Department of Psychology, he heads the “MAD-OHP” research group, which focuses on occupational health and psychological assessment. Renzo has led multiple international research projects and secured about NOK 10 million in competitive research funding. He has (co-)authored over 100 scientific publications to date, including numerous papers in top-tier journals.
