Research topic:
Energy and Emission Management Systems in large marine vessels within the Horizon Europe STEESMAT project.
The project addresses the call “Clean and competitive solutions for all transport modes” . The main objective of my research is to develop smart algorithms and modules for load prediction and optimization of fuel, energy, and emissions in marine vessels, benchmarked against state-of-the-art rule-based methods. Through these developments, the research aims to enable more efficient, sustainable, and intelligent energy management in future large-scale zero-emission vessels.
