I am an interdisciplinary researcher specializing in the long-term relationship between human societies and flora. My PhD thesis, "The Changing Use of Plants by Prehistoric People in Norway", builds on an ethnobotanical foundation to perform advanced archaeobotanical research. To investigate evolving resource strategies and subsistence, I employ a multi-proxy analytical approach, including ancient DNA, proteomics, charcoal identification, radiocarbon dating, and stable isotope analysis.
