Background and activities
I am a Science and Technology Studies scholar. My PhD was completed in 2007 at Imperial College London. Since then I have worked in the UK (as a researcher on the European Commission project DEEPEN), as a postdoctoral researcher in the US (2010-2012), and as assistant/associate professor in Denmark (2012-2019). My work explores the relationship between science and society, for instance in the form of public science communication or the responsibilities scientists have towards their publics. Publications include the books Science Communication and Hackerspaces and journal articles in venues such as Social Studies of Science, Science as Culture, and Minerva.
