About

In short: I work on improving ecosystem quality in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). My PhD is part of the SusHydro project, an NTNU Sustainability initiative. With SusHydro we aim to shed light on the synergies and conflicts between the different UN Sustainable Development Goals for hydropower elektricity production. Buiding upon the work by my supervisors Francesca Verones and Martin Dorber, we will develop LCA models for the use of a global impact screening of possible and planned hydropower reservoirs.

Previous to my PhD I obtained a BSc Global Sustainability Science at Utrecht University and an MSc Industrial Ecology at Leiden University and Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. Besides, I gained some experience with applying LCA in the field of civil engineering projects at Witteveen+Bos.
