Background and activities

I have a Cand. Scient. degree in plant ecology. Has worked at NTNU since 1993. Started at that time at the Botanical Institute, which after merging with the Institute of Zoology became the Department of Biology.

Teacher of botanical subjects in BI-1002, Floristics and Faunistics. Has the main responsibility for the organism group fungi. Also participates in the subject BI-2034, Community Ecology, with organization and plant knowledge.

Also teaches in KOMPiS (competence enhancement for teachers), NA6013

Has for many years been involved in arranging the Biology trail for school classes.

Has participated in the GEOGO project, which is a collaboration with the Department of Geography.

Has been a safety representative for the areas in U2 and U3 at the department since 2008 and still holds this position. Has also been the local main safety representative for the NV faculty from 2011 and still holds this position.


Within research I work on various projects, all in collaboration with Bente Graae.

- FORMICA, microclimate in deciduous forest,

- Hagelupine (Lupinus polyphyllus), phenology.
