A PhD Candidate at SFI CASA (Centre for Advanced Structural Analysis). The title of the PhD thesis is "Behaviour and modelling of welded aluminium connections". It is a combined experimental and numerical project. The main objective of this project is to propose a methodology for developing a reliable
and cost-effective numerical model predicting the heat-affected zone (HAZ) behaviour of a welded aluminium connection.
Background: Master's Degree from the Civil and Environmetal Engineering-programme at NTNU. Structural Engineering and computational mechanics were the main profile and specialisation, respectively. Delivered the master thesis with the topic "Modelling and Simulation of Yielding, Work-Hardening and Fracture of Advanced High-Strength Steels" the spring 2020.
