Subhojit Kadia
About
I am presently working as a PhD candidate at NTNU and focusing on the CFD modelling and laboratory experiments for supercritical narrow open channel flows. I have modified the existing Reynolds stress models in OpenFOAM to apply them for such flows, which are found at sediment bypass tunnels.
My interests are CFD simulation, Turbulence modelling, Open channel flows, Secondary currents, Hydraulic structures, Fluid mechanics, Sediment transport, Sediment bypass tunnels, Hydropower, and Piano key weirs.
I have numerical experience with OpenFOAM, Ansys, and REEF3D and experimental experience with ADV, volumetric PTV, high-speed camera, and UDS.
I also have worked in the industries for more than 6 years, including 5 years in the Hydropower and Renewable energy industry.
