Main Interests

comparative and functional neuroanatomy, neuroimaging, neuromodulation, epilepsy, movement disorders, cognitive neurology.

 

Current Research

Scientific background in functional neuroanatomy of the medial temporal lobe, a phylogenetically preserved area supporting spatial navigation and episodic memory. Strong interest in comparative neuroanatomy and drive to leverage fundamental systems neuroscientific knowledge to the clinic. Currently finishing neurology residency while establishing the research group for Clinical Brain Systems (INB, NTNU) in order to investigate human brain networks in health and diseases.
