Background and activities

Research Activity

Thu’s main research activities are focused on the omics approach including transcriptomics and metabolomics in fish and aquatic species. The study activities are investigated in differential gene expression and nutritional value, especially pigment metabolism and fatty acid profiles. Her laboratory experience is in molecular biology, chemistry, histology, nutritional aquatic species, and feed nutrition. She also has professional skills in bioinformatics, R language, and Unix shell scripts.

 

Thu is a postdoc at the Department of Biotechnology and Food Science, Faculty of Natural Sciences. She is currently involved in the project Renewable Norwegian pigments from microalgae for salmon.
