About

Trude is the innovation manager at the Faculty of Architecture and Design and the Department of Design. As an innovation leader, Trude is committed to support employees and students through facilitating innovation, in line with the faculty's strategy and NTNU's mission and vision. Some of what she does is:

  • Contribute to building an innovation culture
  • Identify ideas that can become innovations
  • Increase innovation activities
  • Support innovative projects
  • Make innovation and activity visible

Competence
For the past 20 years, Trude has worked in the intersection of design, communication and innovation. In recent years as a service designer in digitization projects with a sociotechnical approach. Workshop management, visualization and creating common understanding and good collaboration across very different professionals were a central part of this job.

Areas of expertise; visual design and communication (Bachelor) and studies of technology and society (STS, master). This implies a strong focus on interdisciplinarity. In her master's thesis; From national visions to local actions, Trude wrote about innovation at different levels of society in a socio-technical perspective. The context for the master's thesis was the introduction of welfare technology in two Norwegian municipalities through the Norwegian Welfare Technology Program.

Trude is outgoing, social and creative and thrives best with people. Do not hesitate to contact her!
